Sam and Ericka Pridey had Christmas dinner with Gale and Laurene Pridey. On Friday they all shopped in town. New Year’s Day was spent at Gale and Laurene’s watching the parades and ballgame, and enjoying good food.
Bill and Dorothy Brown had a Christmas soup and sandwich supper and gifts on December 20 for kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids.
On December 27, Justin, Tait, and Kemper Smith, Justin’s nephew, Conner, and Alan Dickerman came to Glen and Mary Lott’s to split wood. New Year’s Eve Glen and Mary went to the home of Linda Hendrixson and enjoyed an evening of soup, sandwiches, and cards with her and Tom and Nancy Lott, Vada Bronson, and Ruth Johnson. Thursday evening, Jared Shoemaker and Dustin Little of Wichita, Brandon Stupka of McPherson, and Zac Bishop of Denver, CO arrived for a weekend of deer hunting. Jared and Brandon stayed at Glen and Mary’s and Dustin and Zac stayed with Bill and Charae Little. Brandon and Jaci Turnipseed of Ellsworth came by Friday evening to bring Jace Turnipseed to Glen and Mary’s to join the guys hunting on Saturday.
The Sunday after Christmas, Steve and Sue Clanton, Sandy Clanton, Caryl Clanton, Topeka, and Aaron and Karyn Clanton, Manhattan, spent the day with Kenn, Sarah, Seth, and Lee Lacy in Miltonvale for Lee’s first birthday and the family Christmas.
