Head Start receives grant

Ottawa County Community Foundation board member Peggy Kay (right) presented a grant check to Shilo Fuller and students at Early Head Start. Early Head Start in Minneapolis recently received a grant for $197.55 from the Ottawa County Community Foundation. The award will be used to purchase five digital temple thermometers. The mission of Head Start is to create an environment in which children and their families are encouraged to grow physically, emotionally, mentally and socially.
