Kade Grant, son of David and Lisa Kiser, born Oct. 28, was recently added to the nursery roll. Grandparents are Doug and Rhonda Kiser, Delphos, and Cheryl and Frank Waite, Barnard. Great-grandparents are Myrna Kiser, Delphos, and LaVona Merry, who resides at the Glasco Nicol Home. Pastor Michele and Virginia Hurtig visited at Kade’s home to give him a baby quilt made by the Presbyterian Women.
On. Jan. 7, the Triennial visit from the Presbytery office met with the Minneapolis and Presbyterian church elders at the Minneapolis church. The PW Bible Study will resume on Jan. 15 with Lesson 5 being studied. Pastor Michele will be on vacation Jan. 13-26. Beverly James will be filling the pulpit, Jan. 19 and Rev. Don Schroeder, Salina, will preach on Jan. 26 and moderate the congregational meeting. Tom McGavran needs all church reports by Jan. 12 so they can be reported in the church booklet for the congregational meeting on Jan. 26. Souper Bowl Caring Sunday will be observed Feb. 2. Please bring a can of soup with you to church that Sunday so it can be donated to needy families of Ottawa County.
